controls would be the last things you worry about when porting or creating a emu, emulation of the processers is the first big problem.
wouldn't it be fairly easy to create a psx emu (if u r a pro of course) because the the controls are similar to the psp, similar control etc. unline say a snes/nes???

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that cgi plays a pretty integral part in most RPGs so ditching it is taking away from the game. But I see where you're going with cutting all the caca out of fighting games and the like.
