You'd be surprised how easy it is to lose a DS stylus. I lost the two I was given within a month or two of buying my DS, but luckily by that time I had already gone out and purchased a few replacements. They're third-party ones, but they work well, and the screen protectors that came in the kit have saved me from utterly destroying my DS from playing Elite Beat Agents.

Granted, this particular product isn't probably one that I'd buy, but the point still remains.

Lol i've got like 10 DS stylus !

all the accessory kits come with them. I got some really cheap kits locally so hehe.
