How to play PS1 game son PSP?

I´m uber new to emulation on psp, I own one and the idea of playing ps1 games on it is appealing.
I got to this site while searching for the subject and came to a list posted by a Dark Alex fellow, listing game that I can play on my PSP.
So the direct quiestion is, how can I do this?

if your on firmware above 3.03 then you can't do it. yet...

i'll let someone more technical explain how to get onto Dark_AleX's OE FW.
