I don't think you are supposed to be mentioning ROM's or their alteration here, plus I think it is illegal to alter commercial games
i downloaded this program and it lets me completely customize my super mario world rom but i am having trouble changing the overworld and paths, and pretty much anything that has to do with the overworld. does anybody know where to find a good tutorial/video tutorial??

unless it is a backup....
oops my bad. but i actually do have the cartridge game of it
i dont see how it is illegal. i can alter the actual cartridge by dropping it off a bridge and thats not illegal.
but yeah, anyone who knows a tutorial let me know![]()
It is illegal, mainly because it's copyrighted material - many get distributed all over the internet (google often directs to them)...
...I have 1000+ edited NES titles on a cd that I've found over the years by searching (not stating where due to DCEmu rules), well heres a few screenshots of how horrible most illegaly altered/edited titles are
CastleVania II - CastleVania Vengance On Hell
Horrible colours, and checkout that horrible weapon - I'm sure it was a whip when I last played CastleVaniaII
Mario Bros - Zelda
Horrible game, Link can hardly jump
Mario Bros - Baby Mario Bros
Mushrooms are bottles, FireFlowers are rattles, Coins have faces, Koopas are crawling around in nappies - HORRIBLE
Luigi Bros
This one is ok, but the graphics are crappy and the gameplay isn't exactly stable - Overall these Luigi titles are horrible
Peach & Daisy - The Ultimate Quest (MarioBros3)
This game looks horrible from the start, I haven't played it but the game just looks horrible
Metroid - Zelda
This game is Metroid, but no this game is Zelda...
...No wait, this game is CRAP
Super Mario Bros 3 - the Lost Levels
Figure this one out for yourselves, exactly like MarioBros3 except everything is muddled
