to tell u the truth 3.03 oe-c is real good for newcomer and noobz to the custom world. There isnt alot of coverting to do for topmenus and icons(although work is still required). its a very easy noob friendly firware
i myslef tho like 3.30 oe-a'
I agree with Tricky0, 3.03oe-c is probobly the most easy to use, with the least problems in it, i would recommend it to newcomers.
yea i myself enjoy 3.03 oe, the only way ill update right now is when dark_alex releases the plugin to run previous firmwire emulators, and thats about it
3.10oe-a for me. Has all the stuff I need![]()
Miniviews:
Spoiler!
I've been using them since 3.02 OE-B and I think the newest (3.40 OE-A) is the best.
With all of the Video, PSX, and commercial PSP game possibilites, 3.40 OE-A is sure to please.
I've never cared about custom icons and themes but it seems 3.40 OE-A can do that too.
Also, it runs all homebrew. I have not run into any problems yet. It seems to truly be the "daywalker" of firmwares.
I have used almost all of the OE firmwares and I never had any problems with 3.03 OE-C. Even though I am now on 3.40 OE-A, I still recommend 3.03 oe-c because it has nearly all of the features of any other firmware higher than it...and recently, each firmware has had their own weird problem. Ex: 3.10- couldn't use topmenu until recently, 3.30- old topmenu won't work unless you convert it
3.40 OE-A
everything works fine for me
got a custom theme and everything
also the new games require higher firmwares now
like the jap demo that came out today required 3.40
3.40 OE.
I don't care about custom stuff because I don't look at the xmb for more than a minute at a time.
