nah dragon quest is BIG in japan, maybe the biggest name in rpgs there, it doesnt surprise me at all.

I understand that DQ is big in Japan, but according to Famitsu magazine, Final fantasy is still favored more by the Japanese, in Famitsu mag's article on what JPN thought the top 100 games are, which was done in 2006. And no DQ game has recieved a perfect score in Famitsu mag, whereas an FF game has. This is why it suprises me, as it is Famitsu's most anticipated games
