You have to take into consideration that the majority of women online play web-based puzzle type games. Like on POGO or YAHOO and stuff like that.

There is only a small percentage of women playing MMORPG's or first-person shooter type games.

I honestly don't think you can compare web-based novelties like POGO, with video games on the XBOX 360, PS3, or PC.

I have nothing wrong with girl gamers and wish there were more. I have noticed that a lot of girls I know really enjoy HALO 2 on XBOX live. So perhaps when HALO 3 is released there will be an influx of girl gamers signing up for XBOX Live accounts.

Even if a guy didn't touch a girl before, depending on how nerdy they are, they could just take it as some kinda computer player.

Not saying I would, but I know plenty of people who don't care if you're male or female.

Gaming isn't about male or female.

Depends on your skill, hand-eye coordination, and how long you've practiced.

It's like a sport. Doesn't matter if you're male or female in Basketball. It depends if you can shoot or not.

And I've played a few rounds of some Naruto fighting game with a girl I have a crush on. I never played it before, but I'm a button masher. I still won. Of course, Button Mashing usually works better than actual strategy.

I'm with you on this, Hombrew. Well said. Although, at the professional level, men do have a physical advantage in basketball. Unfair, but true. Men and women aren't built the same, so there is some small advantage to be had in basic physiology.

But that's not my beef.

What I'm not understanding is how, post after post, each and every one of the jokers thinks he's being somehow original.

The jokes aren't offensive to my sex, they're just offensive to my sense of humor. The joke has been done, people. Unless you have something that's actually, I don't know...clever? To add, then just keep your biting wit to yourselves.

A handy guide:
