3.40 OE-A saves on 3.03 OE-C

I just downgraded from 3.40 OE-A to 3.03 OE-C because my ff7 gliched and I heard 3.03 OE-C would be glitch-free. But now I can't get my saves to work and I don't feel like playing for 15 hours again..

Does enyone know how to convert 3.40 saves to 3.03?

No you cant convert back.

On the readme for 3.40oe it says something like 'back up your saves before upgrading to 3.40oe as you cant revert back to previous oe firmware psx saves'.

only way is to use cwcheat
it would involve upgrading to 3.40 oe again, installing cwcheatpops, starting the game, then saving to mcr format with cwcheat, downgrading to 3.03 oe, the loading the mcr with cwcheat

^^of course, this depends on if cwcheat works on 3.40 oe
