Been trying for 3 days now and still no luck

Im running 3.10 OE-A & using the PSP290GPS. Tried several different mapviewers, currently using 0.499 Ive gotton MapViewer to work fine , loads up the map I want. The GPS shows as on. However I cannot pick up any satelites or show any signal. (EDIT) I can now view satelites but cannot get a fix on any).
The GPStest program does not seem to pick up on anything either, even though it loads up fine and shows as gps on. Ive tried combinations of the PRX files :
usbaac 2.71 usbgps 2.71
usbaac 2.71 usbgps 3.03
usbaac 3.03 usbgps 3.03
usbaac 3.10 usbgps 3.10
usbaac 2.71 usbgps 3.10

only combination that actualy seems to load up the program properly is aac2.71 & gps2.71.
Mapviewer is in folder GAME310, and kernal is 3.10.

A few days ago I did not even know the first thing about psp's.. but its been 3 days of solid forum reading and trial n error! im going nuts thou

Edit: also add, ive tried the usbhostfix too.

If anyone can reccomend any more things I can try to get it to work please let me know. thank you.

( btw im in London, and tried this out in the open on a clear day).

p.s MapViewer is Ace. nice job.

p.p.s (just 1 more question). Where on GPS info it shows location, pressing left or right changes it to negative or positive numbers, what is this value? and what should it be on. thanks.

Hello all, I am using psp-290 and i am in London, I can only get one sat. some times none and cannot get lock on even single one, does any 1 else have the same problem?

Finally get it work!! The only thing I can say is "wow great job"!!

Now it can fix in 4 minutes and sometimes 40 sec.

This is the problem I got before.
GPS State: off
I go to google and find a program "keycleaner" for psp. Use "fix without memory stick" to fix the psp key. After that the GPS State: on. If you have same problem try it.

My System:
TA-82: 2.71 --> 3.10OEa2 --> 3.03OEc --> 3.03OEb
psp-290Made in China(I can not find made in Japan)
usbacc(271).prx
usbgps(maplus).prx
Location: TN, USA (SAT find: max:11, min:5, avg:8)

mapthis.461 in 3.10OEa2 usually get freeze when map zoom in and zoom out. After I change to 3.03OEc, no problem but GPS: off. Than I change to 3.03OEb and findout there is a mapthis.499, still GPS

ff. At last, use keycleaner. Everything work ver well.

hello and sorry for my bad english.
I have a GPS-290 and firmware 3.4OE ( dark-alex). I download Mapthis! but I cant Install it . no Instalation file in .rar files and I hav not any .PRX file .
Dear Denise , please help me and link to me and a perfect instalation file . I do not Know where must copy files ?!!!!
