My best friend had a complete Sony Home Cinema setup (TV,VCR,DVD,5.1), and the DVD Player needed to be modded in order to run anything other than Commercial R2 DVD and Audio releases, even CDRs wouldn't run.

I wouldn't mind but it was a crap DVD player anyway.
