no, what you need to do is wait for a downgrader ok? then install the downgrader and the upgrading file (such as 3.03 oe-c) and run the dowgrader just like you would run a game, it will revert you back to 1.5 then just upgrade to your custom firmware. but make sure you read the readme files that come with each so you dont mess up your PSP. trust me, its easier than it sounds

If you got the extended warranty, then your fine. Drop it in a glass of coke, and let it sit for a few minutes. At best buy, stupidly explain, "It just won't turn on!" They'll attempt to turn it on. When it fails, they'll type in the info, and you can get yourself another one.
When your done, play a homebrew, then wave it in your dumbass friend's face.

about 4-5 months its getting harder and harder to make a downgrader for the new fw's

yea donate to dark alex, hes allready hacked (oe-ed) every major version.....and made up to 3.03 downgradable. i wonder if he is working on another downgrader.....

i bet he is working on one for the ps3
