oh, but when it says gps off, did you hit the X button to turn it on?

you just load key cleaner, and see what it says, what does it say?

no worries
done it against all odds: psp noob, TA-082/86, 2.71 SE-C, using 0.499 + PSP-290 i got 12 sat-in-view and 9 fixes with 6 green bars in 1 minute first time!
