Can you post a screenshot of the error? I don't have any problems with mkisofs crashing on my computer (except only if cygwin is open in which case everything that uses cygwin1.dll does not work).

Not right now. Cdi4dc doesn't support CDDA.

thanks fackue, keeping the 1st_read unscrambled got hexquake and nxDoom to boot. very handy utility, makes burning discs a hell of a lot faster and more efficient.
