I'll repeat: I would chosoe the PS3 over the XBox360...
...but I think it is both immature and pointless to rant on like some pre-pubescent fanboy about how the XBox360 (or inversely, should I have chosen otherwise) 'sucks'...
...so I won't.

if everyone would step back and look at the entire ps3 vs. 360 picture you can CLEARLY see that the 360 is the better product. the ps3 does more but the bloody blue-ray drive could very well be the death of ps3.. its just too much $$$ for something that no one really wants.. remove the drive and voila! the ps3 is cheap.
myself, i have no reason to like one more because i dont have either. i have however played both several times and i know their games and what they have to offer.
