The people most of the times who usually brick their PSPs is because they will be in the progress of downgrading they pull the battery out. So if you do everything correctly like having the AC power cord in and fully charged battery you will be fine

Question regarding un-installation of 3.40 OE -A?
Say in the future I want to remove the 3.40 OE - A Firmware (don’t know why; its awesome) but say if I wanted to revert back to a official firmware, I have found out that the Recovery tool found on this site/forum can re-flash to 1.5 firmware for recovery purposes but I keep discovering warnings about re-flashing from OE to official may brick, if this the same chances of doing any form of flash or is there increased chances of bricking by doing this?
