I got the demo from psp fanboy but it won't start.
It's all unmodified and in the correct folders, I'm on fw3.00, and I can see the thumbnail in my xmb.
After I select it and the psp screen has faded out,
it just says:
The game could not be started.(80020148)

Any ideas?

I downloaded from PSPFanboy and it works wonders

Ok, just downloaded the demo from the official uk psp site and it still wouldn't run.
There appears to be some differences here too:

Pspfanboy: eboot is fw3.00 in a 'ULED90040' folder
Official site: eboot is fw 3.40 in a 'MGSPO' folder

Anyone else having any troubles getting this to work?
Hex editing the eboot doesn't seem to help either >:I

Done some digging around the net and it seems this demo CAN be hex edited to work on fw lower than 3.40 BUT, only from fw3.11 and higher

the screen goes black, it starts up, but then it goes bk to the home menu with the same error every1 else is gettin , i keep gettin this code, wat is it? by the way i got version 3.10 official 1 (OE) waitin for a downgrader lol (been waitin for a downgrader since january r something :s) i keep gettin this error thing (80020148)
