    Default n00b question

How do I change a .nrg file to a .cdi file?

dartdude6, you can't convert images in Nero's .nrg format to DiscJuggler's .cdi.

You could download a free trial version of Alchol120% that allows you to burn both formats:
    http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/

Other than that you could extract the .nrg with CDMage and create a .cdi yourself with BootDreams:

    CDMage: http://cdmage.orcon.net.nz/frames.html

    BootDreams: http://dchelp.dcemulation.com/

@ Chameleon, Gold Line: you both have been giving a warning for the following:

    1. Posting in HUGE bold capital letters.
    2. Posting false information that had nothing to do with the question.
    3. Imitating mod behavior without being moderators or staff here at DCEmu.

Your posts have been deleted and I've given you standard warnings for now, but next time you'll get a temporary ban for rubbish like that.

yeah you can convert it and it's really easy. mount the nrg in alcohol. fire up discjuggler --> new --> create cd and dvd images --> choose alcohols virtual drive as source and hit start.

you can test the cdi in nulldc. it should work. i never had a prob with that method

Ignore me. I'm wrong apparently. I read ccd not cdi. Glasses probably are required.

first of all ultraiso can't save images to cdi, which was the question by the way. and second of all, ultraiso can't handle the dreamcast specific iso formats at all. it can't read audio/data cdi and it messes up data/data images. next time you better verify what you suggest...
