When you download a homebrew, it should be in either
    one folder format: (something)
    or two folder format:
    (something) and (something)%

When you open up your PSP in usb mode, there should be a folder named PSP and inside that a folder named GAME. If the GAME folder isn't there, make it. Place the folder(s) in the GAME folder.

lol followed the guide, downgraded from 2.00 to 1.5 then upgraded. i have a ds, homebrew isnt too good on that tho, usually use it for commercial games. thanks for your help though.

edit: ive tried daedulus, snes9x, pspgenesis, tetris, and cspsp and i only got tetris to work after loading it with sei tool, all of the other ones when i try to load say "The game could not be started. (8002014C)"

Most homebrew is in 1.5 format, which means it is kxploited. So there are two folders, one with a % on the end.

First, check your GAME folder kernel version. This is in the recovery menu.

If it's set to 1.5 then these folders go in PSP/GAME.
If it's set to 3.40 then these folders go in PSP/GAME150 (create if it's not there)

I prefer 1.00 eboots, for less corrupted icons and less folders to deal with. You can convert 1.50 to 1.00 with PSPBrew.

in the recovery menu theres an option that lets you hide corrupted files.
