heya guys! i have a psp with plain 3.40 on it....pisses me off i cant find anywhere any kool stuff for it like an emu. does anybody know how to play homebrew on 3.40?

It's impossible until someone develops a downgrader to 1.5 or an exploit for running homebrew in 3.40. And don't ask when, it's not like people don't do it because they are lazy...

I loaded the new eboot. Is there any way to get rid of the number that counts up then stays in the upper left hand corner of the screen?

Just tried a bunch of games with the new speedhack file. As long as you are running all your roms on 333, it definitely makes a very nice improvement in speed.

Mode 7 wise: I gave Super Metroid a spin. The laboratory stage used to chug like crazy but now plays very smoothly. Mode 7 effects for Ridley and the space cinemas are very fast but still have that weird black "strobe" around them. It's the same for Mode 7 effects so far in SMW. Still excellent work though so far and definitely worth the download.
