psp freezing while listening to music

when im listening to music on my psp if i try to stop playing the music or bring up the music menu my psp freezes then goes off an this happens every time!what could it be could it be something to do with my custom xmb or any of the other custom things i have on like gameboot?

Maybe your firmware is corrupted, try re-installing or disabling the plugins/customizations.

i guess ill just have to live with it its not that bad i can still listen to music anyway
