    Question 1.50 XMB themes

i really want to customize my psp with an XMB theme or anything, but they all require a custom firmware. i have upgraded to and downgraded from a custom firmware because it didn't work for me. are there any themes avaliable for 1.50 psp (with devhook).

check themepsp all themes are pretty much associated with it.

what didnt work with custom fw... if you could get to use it is much easier to flash themes and way more versatile

Woah dude, dont customise 1.50, its simply not safe enough.

One corrupt file or 1 mistake and your psp is finished.

Yeah, Just try and upgrade to custum fw again, Flashing ANYTHING to 1.50 is just entirely unsafe.

If you wouldn't mind posting the problem you had with custom firmware, perhaps we could help you?

the problem was that there is something wrong with my psp so that sometimes when i load a 1.50 eboot from the game menu it wont load. it says "error the game could not be started (some number code starting with 8)" so, when i upgraded to 3.10oa none of my emulators or games would work. if there is a way to fix this please tell me.

Maybe because it was in the wrong folder!

Update again, then, move all your homebrew from "/GAME/" to "/GAME150/"

    Dumb mistake.

when i updated there was no GAME150 folder, and all the stuff was still there, it just wouldn't load. i don't think theres any way to fix it though.

Go to the recovery menu and go to configuration. You should see something like kernal for GAME folder. Change that from 3.03 kernal (or whatever OE youre using) to 1.50 kernal. Now everything should work fine.
