Also, you can test 'New Gyruss':
    http://www.gp32spain.com/public_ftp/...ast-gyruss.rar

    New Gyruss homepage:
    http://www.devilishgames.com/2003.htm

Both games, it's made Fenix language.

YES, Fenix is multiplatform and his games too. Fenix is very easy language (and virtual machine likes java) for game programming and a lot of homebrews games use it.

Now, 'New Gyruss' dreamcast port is any preliminar (not very tested).

I think will make 'Fenix Pack2' for Dreamcast with 20-30 homebrews games and i'm writing a document about fenix for dreamcast and gp32.

You can download 'Fenix Pack1' here:

Now, i patched fenix runtime and loader and auto-detect NTSC or PAL console for all fenix games (Gyruss, Nazcatron...):
    http://www.gp32spain.com/public_ftp/..._dreamcast.rar

If you copy new 1st_read.bin on Gyruss or Nacatron game, it's auto-detect region console.

so what do i do with the normal game bins rename them to the name of the game put that 1ST_READ.bin in there and burn the disk. Plop it into my dreamcast and it will work? I dont know anything about this but if it is the loader will you get all the fenix games released single or will you release the old fenix with NTSC compatibility or will the new fenix contain all the old games and new games and again be compatible with NTSC machines.

    Thanks

    Eric

1ST_READ.BIN only contains Fenix runtime and a little loader.
This program read /fenix/fenix.xml when the games are described.

Gyruss and Nazcatron have a /fenix/fenix.xml for executing, if you copy new 1st_read.bin (fenix runtime) over old Gyruss or Nazcatron, it must auto-detect region console and you don't need 2 versions of Fenix runtime.

I don't test new 1ST_READ.BIN over NTSC Dreamcast, I have a (only) PAL Dreamcast.
