Can you use Ad-Hoc to play Multiplayer on a SNES emulator?

I was recently thinking about this, because I'd love to play some Killer instinct or Metal Warriors with my friend on his PSP.

Is this possible at all? If not, is it possible through further coding?

at the moment not posible but in the future it should be posible. They just have to figure out the wifi functions and add them into the emulator.
