Help with Dark_AleX's 3.40 OE custom firmware "easy installer"

The OE custom firmwares must be installed onto a firmware 1.50 PSP. And the only significant firmwares that can be downgraded are 2.71, 2.80 and 3.03.

So I'm afraid you are out of luck, unless you get a mod chip ... or someone figures out how to downgrade a 3.40+ firmware.

i did habe 2.82 but i red every where on forums and they all sed that you cant downgrade from 2.82 to 1.50. because i want to play doenloaded games i download and i red that 3.30oe-a+ and 3.40OE-A + can work some how can you give me any advice and a simple instrution advice if i can.and can i down grade to 3.03 with 3.40

I will stand corrected on this, but to my knowledge, 2.80 is the latest easily downgradable firmware. It is possible to downgrade 3.03 using an original UMD of Liberty City Stories from the original run, and these are quite difficult to get hold of.

So the only way I can think to do it from 2.82, would be to upgrade to 3.03 and use an original GTA:LCS to downgrade to 1.50.

But if I understand you correctly, you've already upgraded to 3.40 ... which is currently impossible to downgrade from.

EDIT: No you can't downgrade to 3.03 from 3.40. Firmware 3.40 has fixed the security problems that allowed downgrading to happen, so until someone finds another security hole it can't be downgraded.

Download the 3.03 downgrader by "the Noobz" from Here. It contains all instructions required to intstall it.

Remember, this is for 3.03 only!

i was flashing theme
it was successfully flashed
after tat my psp was not responding
so i did hard reboot of my psp
after tat i got only date,time,and battery level
no icons
i toggled usb in recovery mode and i saw no folders in my psp drive
PLEASE HELP PLEASE PLEASE
