Default Is the GPS INFORMATION correct?

After I enter the Mapthis0499_Beta, I open the GPS Mode ON.
But I cannot see where I am from the map.( I watch the viedo from YouTube. A triangle will appear on the map and to show where you are, but I didn't see that. What I only saw is the "Cross".
Please help me how to show the location where I am.

The following is the GPS INFormation:
    GPS STATE: ON
    SAT-IN-VIEW: 00
    LAT: 0.000000
    SPEED: 0.00
    CPU: 333Mhz
    FIXED:00
    LON: 0.000000
    BEARING:000
    HDOP:0.0
    ALT:0.0
    LOC:1

The following is what I do to install Mapthis0499_beta and Mapviewer_v04.
Please help me to check if my procedure is wrong somewhere.

    Basic information of my PSP:
    1) Firmware: 3.40EA
2)Game folder homebrew: (currently: 1.5 kernel)

    Step1: Put "mapviewer" and "mapview%" in ms:\PSP\GAME340
Step2: Put "EBOOT" from PSP-290_EBOOT into the folder "mapviewer" (overwrite the original one)
Step3: Put the folder "system" into the folder "mapviewer" (overwrite the original one)
Step4: Put two files "usbacc.prx" and "usbgps.prx" from "3.40_OE_GPS_PRX.zip" into the folder "mapviewer".

And now I can execute the Mapthis(logo: little person), but I cannot execute he Mapthis(logo: the earth one).
    Is that a problem here?

Did your GPS get a position lock?
Which GPS did you use? Sony 290 or Holux need different MapThis.

You need to get position lock first.
If you are using it for the first time go out to the open and wait......
It may take 5-20 mintutes for the first time and it will take less than a minute after that.

click on the GPS button (button left)
hit down button (left side) - get to 111
    now walk out side

wait until you see at least thee bird (sats) and them slowly spin around (SLOWLY!!!!!)
when you get 30% on at least 3 on them - stop and wait
slowly (SLOWLY) hit up and down buttonto adjust CPU
hit left and right to adjust LOC
    SLOWLY
    SLOWLY
when you see more than 3 birds -dont move
light up a smoke or something
then you will see more than 3
    take a puff
then you will see multiple locks
    -your good to go
*you can hit UP to get to 333 and make pictures draw quicker

personally I think it is something to do with the bus rate from GPS to psp

    but then again...I am stoooooooooooooopid
