just got a psp!!! need some help/advice

so i just got a new psp and i need some help getting into it. i know you can do alot of stuff and one thing im interested in is the GPS. i just downloaded the MapTHis! from deniska but if someone can help me with some step by step instalations that would be cool because i have no idea what certain terms are and a step by step would help a moron like me. P.S. does the map this work in america Cuz im in the states?

What firmware are you running?

And im not sure about mapthis, but you will need a homebrew enabled firmware.

So whats your firmware?

Go, settings ---> system settings ---> system information

That might not be right, but its something like that.

it says system software version 2.81
and theres my nickname and an MAC address. do you need the mac address>?

You need to downgrade your PSP to 1.50

You will need a unpatched version of Grand theft auto - LCS.

If you havent, its a no go.

and if the gta has the 2.00 update on the disk you can use it
