I use R4
and there is a program called Cheat code editor
I tried to use it but I couldn't understand anything from the instruction ( http://www.r4ds.com/soft/5-other-en.htm)

the cheats I tried to add to my Pokemon Diamond are :

Well, instead of making the cheat file, you could add Pokemon Diamond to your Custom Codes list, then right-click and click on Add New Cheat. Pu tin the cheat name, and Copy and Paste the codes.
If that didn't help, try Googling How to Use Action Replay Manager. Hope I helped!
