    psp New: Xbm Flasher GUI

    Hi all,

    I want to show us a simple homebrew that works to change the different options of your Custom Firmware themes easily. Only need two steps to put any theme change on your PSP, ideal for begginers. >8)

    Copy of READme.txt

    Homebrew by FullDark & Marce82

    ***** WARNING: This Homebrew write the memory flash0. Badly used may brick your PSP!!!, use at your own risk. *****

    <<< Instalation >>>

    Unrar and copy the PSP folder on your Memory Stick Root, rewrite when S.O. ask it.

    <<< Options Menu >>>

    -> General Icons (topmenu_plugin.rco)
    -> Secondary Icons (game_,photo_,savedata_plugin.rco)
    -> Opening Sound (opening_plugin.rco)
    -> Key Sound (system_plugin.rco)
    -> Gameboot (gameboot.pmf)
    -> Text Fonts (ltn0.pgf)
    -> Backgrounds (01-12.bmp)
    -> Background Waves (system_plugin_bg.rco)
    -> Volume Toolbar (impose_plugin.rco)
    -> Battery Icon (system_plugin_fg.rco)
    -> USB Toolbar (sysconf_plugin.rco)
    -> Prx (license_,premo_,update_,camera_,netplay_,iftv_,ga me_plugin.prx)

    -> Free Space (Japanese Fonts DELETED)
    -> Save Flash0 (Create a Flash0 Backup)
    -> Load Flash0 (Recovery Flash0 Backup or full XMB)

    <<< How To Use >>>

    <<< Use your file explorer to go to your PSP Memory Stick and them go to /psp/game/xmbFlasherGui folder, we can find inside the sequent folders>>>

    - XMB -> Put here the .RCO files to flash, better put each .RCO at once time.

    - PRX -> Put here the .PRX files to flash, better put each .PRX at once time.

    - BackupXMB--> Here you find your Flash0 Backup, if you have do it.

    - RestoreXMB-> Put your Backup here to Restore your XMB.

    - System Flasher -> Needed to run the homebrew. Better don't touch it.

    Can download from author's blog: Marce_82 or Secondary Mirror

    NOTE: This homebrew habe been tested and working on 2.71 Se / 3.02 Oe / 3.03 Oe / 3.10 Oe / 3.30 Oe and 3.40 Oe Custom Firmwares

    Regards....

    So this will let you change most of the visuals on the psp such as the menu icons, the boot sounds and such??

    Do you know of a place that has all these files for us to look at?

    Is this as good as X-Flash?

    I have a problem with having custom background images with a wave. So I thought maybe this homebrew might help me. So how do you change the background image while keeping the wave with this homebrew? I can see that there's the option of changing the background (01-12.bmp), but where do you put the images, since it just says where to put .RCO-files and .PRX-files? I have the 3.40 firmware by the way.

    The background files go into PRX folder.
