    via Game Guru

D3Publisher of America (D3PA) and TOMY Corporation have announced a new role-playing game for the Nintendo DS, Naruto: Path of the Ninja. It will have never seen before original content and scenarios.

Naruto: Path of the Ninja is based on the VIZ Media’s hit anime series Shonen Jump Naruto. It will have a unique time based combat system in which gamers must resolve each characters strength and use them precisely to help them defeat the enemy. The game features six characters and gamers will encounter bosses and enemies.

Careen Yapp, VP, Licensing & Business Development, D3PA commented, “We are really looking forward to bringing Naruto: Path of the Ninja to North America. Some of the best elements from all the Japanese Naruto RPG releases will be used to generate an exclusive and exceptional game that no one has ever seen!”

Mark Shinohara, EVP, TOMY Corporation says, “The Naruto RPG games have proven to be very popular in Japan. The forthcoming RPG title for North America will bring an entirely new style of gameplay to Naruto games, and the fans will love it!”

Naruto: Path of the Ninja will release for the Nintendo DS in Fall of 2007. Earlier, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes for the PSP and Naruto: Clash of Ninja for the Nintendo Wii was also announced.
