Default SEI PSP Tool Freeze after.....

After I press the "..." and try to load the Eboot from a SNES Emulator, it always freezes. What was I supposed to do?

Upgrade to 3.40 OE-A and then you won't need to use the SEI PSP Tool or the Kxploit Tool either.

    What version are you using?

If its earlier than 0.5c, try this one (from here).

There are lots of other apps that do the same job, I'm sure someone will post a link to at least one of them.

Ive never had any problems with sei to date thankfully.

But if I did that, I can't degrade it. Everyone tells me 3.40 can't play emulated games.

I tried your SEI PSP Tool. Still, it doesn't work. What SNES emulator are you using? Is a PSP Homebrew 9 needed?

3.40 OE-A is not the homebrewless sony firmware. Where have you been? It has the features of 3.40, but the ability to play homebrew, and has a built in psx emu.

The best (by far) SNES emu is snes9xTYL 0.4.2me (from here).

You do not need to do anything to it with sei psp tool other than rename the folders to stop the corrupt icon showing I guess.
Just copy the 2 folders from inside the 1.5 folder to \psp\game.

Thanks. Copy and paste worked, although Kirby Superstar was slow.

Not all games run full speed, but many are more playable if you mess with the emulators settings.

Frameskip etc, try setting 'engine' to 'psp accel. + accur. soft.', it seems to run faster than 'psp accel + approx. soft.' for some games.

Some games, especially ones that had extra processors in the cart (super FX etc) run quite slowly, to the point of being unplayable.
