    Default UMD games not working with 3.40OE

    Since upgrading so that I can play PSOne games I haven't bothered playing UMD games. I noticed just now that Pro Evo 5 and Tiger Woods 07 no longer work. I just get the "cannot be started" message.

    Any ideas? Do some commercial games not like custom firmware?

    Basically I had the same problem and the way i fixed it was by tinkering a bit with recovery mode configurations. Works every time.
