HD-DVD has apparently outperformed blu-ray in everything but size

That is true mainly due to the ps3, most people don't want a new format already, but if you own a ps3 you're going to spend more on HD things. Remember though, Wal-Mart and porn are both going for HD-DVD, how can you go against that?

Not the most clear post , Sony is getting sued, that is true. If they lose, they'll probably just get bitch-slapped in the face for money, I don't know if companies will be more reluctant to go for a format that already broke patent laws. (Probably won't make a difference though) When I want to spend money to get HD movies, even though right now DVD is still fine, I will just buy an HD add on for my 360

Nah they'll just think up another gimmick for the PS3.

Besides, the gap between HD-DVDV and blu-ray is getting smaller everyday. Studio support? Why not.
