Too be honest i like neither better than eachother.

But if you are talking more as in the Format wars, blu-ray will win.

I voted DVD because it's still a great format and is incredibly cheap now. I'm hoping that instead of moving to Blu-Ray/HD DVD that DVDs will use high def Divx as the format. Think about it, you would just need to buy a new player (but it would be cheaper than Blu-Ray/HD DVD) and we could still use good ol cheap DVD 9s.

As for Blu-Ray/HD DVD, I think HD DVD is better since standalone players are only $300 compared to $800 for Blu-Ray. But I do think Blu-Ray could win the format "war" (assuming either format does win the war.)

Personally I still buy DVDs, and will continue to buy them until I can no longer find them for sale. Not like I ever watch them from the disc anyways, they end up as divx files real quick, have more hard drive space than room to tote around movies with me.

I have seen Blu-Ray and HD-DVD in action, no much difference.

Just that BR has better compatibility, and PS3 owns
