Default To anyone with some experience in Linux, pref. Ubuntu...

I am looking to set up a CounterStrike Source dedicated server on Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn.

A few things I cannot get working right:

    1) The mani admin plugins are not working. I keep getting config file not readable or not found errors during the final stages of install.

    2) I can't seem to get connected to the steam servers through this setup at the moment. The error message is saying "Could not connect to the Steam server. IP address is not configured (or something to that effect)".

I'd rather not use wine, because wine is too slow for me.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah, there is a specific way to build it, but kinda hard to do because of the no root crap in Ubuntu. I was kinda hoping to host a DCEMU only server for the source games (debating on hosting 1.6 stuff as well), especially since VampireSlayer: Source is coming. I'm going to be hosting many many more mods as well.
