Does Popsloader work on OE's higher than 3.10OE?

This is a very nice plug-in I want to use:
Customize your PSP XMB without flashing!

However, it seams nearly pointless for 3.10OE users because we can not use the Icons (topmenu_plugin.rco) correct?
Are we are lost without a proper popsloader?

I want to upgrade to 3.40OE so I can properly load custom XMB's.
But I don't want to loose the ability to play games that only run on 3.02 pops.

Why do some people say popsloader works on those higher OE's when DA says it doesn't?

Can anyone report that it does in fact work?
Or confirm that it doesn't?

It can load 3.02/03 pops just like the popsloader on 3.10 OE-A.

Oh, so you are saying that Popsloader works in 3.40OE and can load all but 3.10 and 3.11 pops!?

Pretty sure, but I never used pops loader.
It can load anything the popsloader can, but nothing higher.

Not sure if i want to upgrade to 3.40OE just to experiment loading 3.02 pops...
Don't want to recover back to 1.5 and then back to 3.10OE just so I can play my game.
Custom XMB's are cool but games are better.

Just extract the iso and reconvert your games. 3.40 is better than 3.10.

I agree but its worthless to me if I cant play my game on it.

it dose, i was playing gran tursiom 2, but then i overwrited the plugin by mistake a few days ago and cant remember were i got it, grrrrr, if u no were give me a shout it defo works
