    Do you have custom firmware installed.

    Just switch off your PSP completely then when you switch on hold down R trigger and check this out aswell. http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=49967

    If ya dont have custom firmware you can buy a modchip which will unbrick your PSP, but there fairly expensive and hard to install from what ive read.

    Yeah recovery mode is really the only way to unbrick a psp without spending money from what i've heard. If you ever unbrick somehow, upgrade to a custom fw. It heped me a lot

    if you have custom firmware you can unbrick
    if you have a sony firmware you cant unbrick
    next time tell us your firmware!
