Great news. I'll buy one. Including shipping it's only 16 euros. I can live with that.

Better sleeping and having fun with my psp than strugglin hours and hours to order the spare parts from all over the world and another hours and hours trying to build the cable.

Also this pre-made cable is much stronger as the power cables are INSIDE the extension cable, not outside anymore.

Has anyone tried an alternate camera hooked up with the cable? I would be nice to set up a higher quality camera similar to using a holux gps reciever instead of psp290.

Naah, i only modded one of my PSP-300X cameras to enable Nightvision bu just taking off a lens and adding some Infra red Diodes

You should be able to upgrade the CCD sensor from a Sony mobile phone if youre good enough though, like if youre a mad scientist that has massive equipment for surface mounting and soldering stuff like CCD sensors :thumbup:

w00blyn got a question for you, im having trouble finding a mini usb cable in the uk that has the male and female ends that are needed for this DIY make.

Ive found a spring test pin but cant find a cable any where other than pc mobile in the states.

Im after a 2-2.5m extension cable, got any ideas to find one in UK??

Get them from Pc mobile
Add more to make a longer cable, you should be able to make a long cable out of 3* 1.5 meter cable to have 4,5 meters, cables longer than 5 meters could pose a problem
