"Dig" is, for example, to dig a hole.
"Digg" means cool, I think, and is also a site with cool stuff.

I've seen some of those sites before. Kinda cool. Thanks.

why not?
they just either dont take the time to spell it right at want it typed as fast they can or they dont review their spelling.
