DGEN 1.7 problem

So I'm trying to run a rom on this emulator, and whenever I load it, it goes into a cutscene sequence, then to the main menu. No matter what button I press it just restarts the cutscene again. I've messed around with all the options, tried remapping keys, nothing works. Has anyone seen this problem before, and knows what to do? Help would be appreciated.

BTW I tested the rom out on a PC Genesis emulator, it works 100% fine.

Some roms don't work too well with DGEN.

Yeah it sounds like it isn't compatible. Try another rom and if it still does that reinstall your emulator.
