    NDS Poweroff DS

    News/release from felix123

This program turns off your DS. It's probably the shortest DS homebrew ever. I made it because someone on another forum requested it to save wear and tear on the power button.

the power button was meant to be used a lot so i doubt it would break easily.

if you read the main post.
it says he only made it because someone requested it to prevent wear and tear on the power switch.

Yeah, so now we can turn on our DS, start a homebrew, and turn it back off!

Seriously, you can go back to the main menu and then do that, that's why.

Save from wear and tear? The probably least used button on the ds

Well, one shouldn't complain when people make free programs, but it seems a bit strange

O_o How lazy does one person have to be to want to avoid pressing the power button? Or maybe that just have huge man-paws for hands and can't touch the little button (though no idea how they play games on the DS, unless it's the brain-training games).. just weird.

Seeing as the source is released as well it gives developers an example to work from, so it's not completely frivolous.
