MY friend plays his Gamecube on his port. DVD player all the time... it's not an amazing achievement
THIS IS A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER!!
ok heres whats going on today i saw my dvd player, i was like cool i wanna watch a dvd
so far so good?
anyway i looked at my dvd player and it had a plug on the side saying A/V OUT (hmmmmm) anyway it just so happens i find thing cord that plugs into the av out and it has three female ends and has a traditional R/Y/W colors.
i then thought to myself when i saw my ps2 and i thought what if i inserted the the R/Y/W the male end into the R/Y/W into the female end which plugs into my av/out and turn my ps2
now this was very interesting i turned my dvd player on and then my ps2
to my surprise i heard the sound of the ps2 going but the dvd player kept at the bios screen (like where it says DVD PLAYER when you dont have a dvd inside it)
The final verdict?
Im stuck here with the ps2 sound playing at the dvd bios startup screen, i cant get past the screen but i think because of it, it causes the visual from the ps2 to be cut off
I need help with disabling this screen so i can see the visual from the ps2
BTW my portable dvd player is accurain APD-3955

Yea, you won't on yours. You are trying to use the output as an input, it won't happen. The fact that you get sound simply points to a poorly wired up system.
I would love to know how to convert the output to input.
I do the same with my DVD Player/Recorder, connected to either my regular DVD player with audio from another source (i.e: MP3 player) or any of my games consoles...
...I only ever do so when recording random game footage, or when creating music video's with the wrong audio (cause I'm sad like that)
