Broken Backlight!!!

I broke my lcd screen, so i bought a new one with backlight. I changed it, but when i turned on my PSP the backlight didn't turned on.
I checked the backlight's cable but it's ok. I also checked the backlight's fuse on the motherboard but it isn't broken.
I checked with a tester the two pins of the backlight but there is no power!!!

So the problem is that the backlight is ok, but it have no power.

How can I fix it?
Maybe I can taket the power for the backlight from another place, but where?
I also heard abut getting the backlight running direct from the battery or other source, but i haven't found any guide or explanation about it.

So.... HELP ME PLZ!!!

hello! I am Italian also: P me spiace but I do not have an answer but I have the same problem….peró I have not still seen if the backlight é fused on the motherboard ...... you could perfavore explain me of what draft? my problem é with a psp slim however .......

Me too,
I opend it up just to have a poke around but when I put it back together the backlight wouldn't work. There was no power from the pins so I've been using an external 21V power pack.
You said something a fuse, where is that?
I've got a TA - 081 motherboard, have you as well?
