Default 3.40 OE-A Firmware Install Error

Alright, so im trying to put my friends psp (originally 2.60) To update to 3.40 OE. I have done it with mine and my other friend but his seems different. First of all it is not a T-A082 or whatever it's called. 2nd, i succeded in bringing it to 1.50 but every time i run the Firmware install it had the "The game could not be started (80010002)". 3d, i have done the updater to get the DXAR file and i have moved it to the 340Flasher folder and the DXAR file is not a 0 space file. However in his game memory two icons are invisible which are the corrupted datas, and im pretty sure me and my friends psp's corrupted data was not invisible. Any help appreciated, Thanks.

I think you should go to recovery mode and then switch your kernel.

    He hasn't installed it yet.

Just take the data.dxar, move it to 340flasher, move the 340flasher and 340flasher% folders to /PSP/GAME. It shouldn't mess up.

Got it working by switching memory cards with mine, it worked like a charm! Thanks.
