PS1 eboot compatibility

So i'm currently running 3.40 OE-A, and waiting for a 4gb stick in the post to run on my PSP.

Ideally, these are the games i'd like to run through the PS1 emulator...

Resident Evil
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil Survivor
Dino Crisis
Dino Crisis 2
Silent Hill

However, i'm sure i've read in the past that there were compatibilty issues with Resident Evil 2, i definitely remember reading something recently where a number could be changed and the game would run? Yet i read on the compatibility list here that Resident Evil 2 runs perfectly?

Could somebody please fill me in on the situation please. Thank you

The above games do work in 3.40oe the compatability issues where with earlier versions of oe firmwares which DA has now rectified.
