You need to downgrade! There is a .1% chance of bricking. (And that's just a disclaimer.)



2.71 or below:

If you are not at 2.71 yet, you first must upgrade.

Place the eboot.pbp file in, ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE

Update through the game menu on your psp.

Now, find out if your psp has a ta-082 motherboard.


Now it's time to downgrade.

First off, you'll need HEN. (Homebrew enabler)

The readme will guide you through installation.

Now for the downgrader.
http://downgrader.lan.st/ta082down.rar

You will need a copy of the 1.50 update in order for it to work.

Again, use the readme.

If you do not have a ta-082 psp, just skip the idstoragechange part.

When finished, you should succesfully have a 1.50 psp!



2.80:

If you are using a 2.80 psp, use this downgrader.
http://www.noobz.eu/joomla/index.php...id=35&Itemid=1

That should easily lead you on the way to 1.50'ness.

How 'bout 2.81/2.82 FW? Is there a way to downgrade or use eloader besides upgrading to 3.03?
