I know this is a very unusual thing, and microsoft do it to them all the time with software.

But microsoft alongside other companies have been doing smartphones for a long time already.

If you want homebrew on your phone you can already do it without apple, if you want gps you can already do it without apple, same with remote tv, sony do that too.

and theyre already built into smartphones.

I can do all of this with my Orange SPV m3100 + i have the benefit of a slide out qwerty keyboard.

I think he is refering to phones with microsofts mobile software. Many smart phones use Palm OS or whatever MS's software is. MS doesnt have a phone though.

There are lots of phones with palmtop style software you can do all this stuff on.

My phone is made by a company called HTC using a samsung processor.
