I would just upgrade to 3.40 OE-A, couldn't hurt.
Hi I'm a noobie and have used fw1.50 ever since I have had my psp. I recently updated to 3.30 OE-A, believing that this would give be the ability to play full res video (480).
I've dloaded the new Video9 and converted some videos to full res only to find that I get the "unsupported data" message.
I'm confused as to which fw will let me play full res, can anyone advised which is the best fw I should use (I still want to play my emulators SNES, Gameboy etc)
Will 3.40 OE-A allow full res.
How do I get from where I am, 3.30 OE-A to the fw I need. What will I lose if I change ?
All help is appreciated
Thanks![]()

I always use XviD4PSP to convert videos to full res, and they run perfectly.
I've heard xvid4psp takes REALLY long.
Well, it has tons of options you can turn on and off: When you want maximum quality it really takes long, but when you are contented with medium quality (I can't see any real differences) it's okay. (although I've never tried out if other programs take really a shorter time, I would say that it's about as fast as the other psp converters)
update.
Hi
I've upgraded to 3.40 OE-A, same result, it just says unsupported data.
I've also tried xvid4psp, same results.
No matter what I do, I can't get my psp playing 480x272 videos. What I am doing wrong.
It's driving me mad
Umm, are you putting the files in the right folder? Perhaps thats the problem...
