The only way to downgrade a PSP with firmware 2.80 or above (without a modchip) is through an exploit in this game, the later (patched) version will not work.
If you can find a copy, you can use this downgrader.

im new to the psp homebrew scene...
i have a 2.82 firmware psp that i got from my friend and i want to know if i can run emulators on it if i cant is there any way to downgrade the firmware.
