Here
This might not be the place for this BUT it may get some of you to want to program the PSP.

For some odd reason it keeps freezing on my psp. When I load a map that worked in the first unofficial release It just says loading map, hans for a few seconds and shuts off.
I noticed that too (when I move around without a FIX)
Try this
selct a map
When it is drawing a screen (tiles coming in} - hit the square button
*thoughts - need to flush cache ...maybe
lemme see
start it up...when the MAP loads....press square before it finishes
*bad guess - something with the caching needs to be flushed
**I read something about images being corrupted and cache...somewhere
ok...
I added something called
sceKernelDcacheWritebackAll();
it *seems* it might smooth out things
However...before I produce a bandaid....how many are really saying "ouch"?
works fine for me, now i can zoom in/out like crazy and don't freezes.. i think it's time for me to finally buy a psp-290
thank you atari
Awesome....glad to hear it
I added something (that I dont know what it does 100%) that is a type of cache flush
after it reads the GPS
If I put it before - it says the GPS is off after is reads..it is good
*could be the freezer prevention thing...possibly a speed up
I might be on to something
*instead of waiting for stuff to be done...execute a "FINISH THIS NOW" type of command
This could speed up things
* I need a blog..."drunkin guy with a psp and bored"
If anyone know C programming and the PSP and know the "method" to shut off the screen..PM me
I wont scrounge it...just need to put it in a few :stragitically: located places places
Always...
