    have you tried pressing SQUARE? to turn on the gps mode? as it is off by default, and I don't see where you say you have tried that...

    also what happens in the gps tester program?

    yes i have pressed square
    it doesn't work with the provided files either

    When you first turn the tester on
    -Loading USB Accesory module... ok
    -Loading USB GPS module... ok
    -Starting USB BUS driver... ok
    -Starting USB Accesory driver... ok
    -Starting USB GPS driver... ok
    -Opening USB GPS device... ok
    -USB State = 0x111 [deactivated]
    -GPS State = -1 location: 0
    When you press X
    -USB State = 0x211 [activated]
    -GPS State = 0 location: 0

    i have same problem...gps state is always off no matter how many times i push square or set it to read gps from unit....its getting really anoying ive tried about 5 different peoples sets of files.

    Just follow my guides to get a PSP-290 running on 5.32 M33-2

    And if it dosent work try disabling Plugins and yeah, hit Square to activate GSP and stand outside the car if you want to hunt for sat signals

    Make sure you disable your WIFI. I had the same problem before
